Hello everyone. This is me, after that week of midterms. I can't believe I took 8 midterms in one week. I am sometimes amazed at all of our capabilities when we're pushed to the limit. Of course, I am not sure how I did on my midterms. I am a bit worried about oral radiology since I overslept for half of the midterm and had to sprint to school. Memories. Sheesh. Where am I now? Hmm, last night I went to the Troubadour with some of my classmates to checkout a band that my friend Jason likes called Mofro. They were a bluesy funk type of band. I thought it was cool, though the guitarist seemed like he was high and was gonna fall alseep onstage. I'm sure my guess isn't far from the truth. Tomorrow is Valentine's day. I think we should all be loving of each other everyday, but I also know that we get caught up in our every day activities and it makes it super hard sometimes to show the people you love that you love them. So is it a commercial ploy to have a day to celebrate love? Albeit, more so romantic love? My guess is that it is commercial to a degree (then again, what in our society hasn't been commercialized). But I also think the idea beneath all of the commercialism is great. It's saying, "Hey, let's all take a day and celebrate the greatest part of being human--love." I would like to write more, but I gotta get ready for anatomy. Let me put on my smells like dead people scrubs and head off. Write ya later.
