Well, I am back at the house in LA. It is nice to see my roomie and my friends again. I went snowboarding yesterday with them at big bear mountain. It was way festive (except for Tim's wrist injury). Other than that, Tim was doing excellent on the snowboard and was able to go down fairly well. I was doing much better this time. I was able to go down the blue slope without falling at all. I had to stop off on the side to rest now and then. But it was so fun! I want to do it again. It is much more fun when u are physically comfortable. Meaning you have the right clothes and the right equipment. I love my helmet (in spite of my friends thinking I was silly). I think it makes a world of a difference to have a good helmet. I tried on some helmets that were heavy, and I think they would have given me a headache. So I think buying a light helmet that fitted well was a good thing for me. I also love how they cover your ears. Keeps your ears nice and toasty :). Last time my ears were freezing. :) Even when I wear a beanie my ears still get cold. But this baby was well worth the money. Believe me you. Well, I better go do something else other than stay on this computer :). Probably a good time to do some room organizing now.

Hello. It is 10am, and I am actually up at a normal time! I actually woke up at 8:30am today having gone to bed around 5am. I think I got up early because my sleep wasn't very deep since I took a 4 hr nap around 7pm the night before. I am going to go snowboarding at Big Bear with some dental friends tomorrow. I am definitely looking forward to falling on my butt for 8 hrs. It's OK--it's all about the tuck and roll baby. I have decided to invest in a helmet as I figure I will be needing my head for dental school, and the rest of my life ;). Also, I will be investing in wrist guards that actually fit comfortably while wearing my gloves. Last year I wore wrist guards but they were too large and strained my hand muscles. Not a comfy situation at all. I must admit that the snow clothes made a world of a difference though in terms of my enjoying being out there. I didn't get wet at all last time. :) Happiness. I believe I am much much more out of shape. I think we are also hitting up the Baked Potatoe tomorrow evening for the Screaming Cocktail hour. I hope we're all not too beat to hit this place up. Anyway, I have a few things I'd like to take care of before my return to LA this evening. Until we meet again...
