OK, it's breaktime and I'm still fighting this stupid cold. I feel like I most often get sick during the times when I don't have to work. I wonder why that is. Maybe my immune system holds out just long enough for me to get my work done and then just collapses afterwards. Anyway, for those who don't already know I got into a little snowboarding accident a few weeks ago. It is pretty minor overall, considering what could have happened. I was sorta traumatized though because it was on my face of all places. The external part ran from my lower lip down to my neck. So for a few days it looked just like a streak of blood. I got a few weird looks when I went out. Thank goodness most of it was just superficial. I do have a small scar just below my lip. The scab just fell off yesterday, so I saw it for the first time. I put one of those neosporin scar solutions strips over it. Supposedly this is a silicone strip that mimicks the outside layer of your skin, thereby preventing hypertrophic growth or keloid formation, which I have on a few scars so I'd like to keep this from happening on my face. We'll see though. I'm very congested right now. I need to take some meds. Some pseudoephedrine........
